Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated - Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter, also known as "The Mother Pearl of New Jersey," is a nonprofit black Greek lettered organization founded on March 26, 1948. They were founded on the principles of scholarship, service, sisterly love, and finer womanhood. The Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter is well known throughout New Jersey for many of their community service oriented programs.

Requirements

Under the presidency of Tiffany Harris-Greene, the Gamma Nu Zeta Chapter hired us to redesign and modernize their site to be a better representation of their professional organization. They wanted a site that incorporated their organizations community service projects and colors (royal blue and white).

Web Design

CMS Platform: WordPress

Initially, this website was built on Squarespace's platform, however we recently redesigned this site again on WordPress to commemorate being our first web design clients. We believed WordPress's platform would give their users an easy to use content management system to post updates and share their projects without having to worry about all of the technical know how.

In regards to design, our biggest challenge was trying to incorporate their colors into the site without the royal blue straining the visitors eyes. In an effort to counter this, we added gradients of blue and royal blue to meet their requirements and still display their colors in a manner that was beautiful.
